Introduction to Bloodstain Pattern Analysis

Wednesday, March 9 – 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. – 0.25 Credits

We will have a fascinating workshop on Bloodstain Pattern Analysis.  The workshop will be presented by Jeff Saviano who is a Certified Forensic Consultant and Medical Investigator with JDS Criminalistics, LLC,  and by Sandy Stratmeyer, a Licensed Private Investigator.
As you know, using forensic science to solve problems and develop laboratory skills can be a great motivator for your students.  We will share activities that you can use in your classroom, including the effect of distance and impact angle on stain diameter, how to determine directionality, area of convergence and area of origin, and transfer patterns, drying time and sequence of events.
