2025 Pikes Peak Regional Science and Engineering Fair
When: Project judging – Saturday, February 22, 2025 at UCCS
Awards presentation – 6:00 pm Tuesday, February 25, location TBD
Public Viewing will be open from 3 – 4 pm, Saturday, February 22, 2025
The fair is in February, but students should begin getting their paperwork started as soon as a topic is selected. The science fair board members can provide help, if needed. Forms are available on thewww.pprsef.org website, and registration will be open from August 1, 2024, through January 20, 2025.

Please be aware that students must register by January 20, 2025. As usual, there will be no late registrations. Completed forms and the $15 fee are due by January 28, 2025.
Where: The 2025 PPRSEF will be held at UCCS
Who: Any secondary student (grades 6 – 12) in Elbert, El Paso, Park or Teller County can enter the PPRSEF. Please note: there is no requirement to enter or place in a school or area science fair toenter the PPRSEF.
Why: The PPRSEF offers regional students a place to enter science, engineering, math or computer science individual or team projects of their own creation in an annual Regional Science Fair competition with a chance for project recognition and awards. Qualified projects are invited to attend the Colorado Science and Engineering Fair and the International Science and Engineering Fair.
Awards: In addition to place awards (cash) in the 10-14 categories, there are more than 40 special awards (cash or prizes) presented each year.

We hope you will encourage students to participate, even if science projects are not a part of your curriculum. If you do a science project unit, please consider scheduling it at a time that would coincide with the fair.
